Houston Stuffing

So I had a pretty fun Thanksgiving week. Ate a lot of stuffing though. Most of the adventures ended up in shopping at flea markets. Flea market that also sold katanas. The first one I went to was the Armadillo Flea Market. It was like a mall, but just smaller. They had a variety of stuff, except food. That part kinda saddened me. The next day, we went to a different flea market, except this time it was outside. Outside meant getting froze. This time they had food, like mangos, pineapples, and hommade popcorn. They made the popcorn in this pot filled with oil, and when it came out, it was hot. But other than that, it tasted sweet. My mom kept teasing me for almost hogging the entire bag. I did try the pineapple, and it was fantastic. The market had two Chinese stores, that sold most jewelry and miniature statues. I bought a black fan with red dragon design sewn in it, and 2 necklaces: a Zodiac coin & red and black beaded one. There were at least 5 weapon stores that sold knives, swords, & daggers. What surprised was that they also were selling shuriken. I wish I had been able to buy one. My biggest regret before we left was I saw a booth selling anime stuff. But we had to leave and get something to eat, so I just accepted fate and left them behind. As for food, we ate at Texas Roadhouse. When we came in, I thought a dust storm had come through the place. Why? Because of hordes of peanut dust on the floor. But I forgot all about that soon as we sat down and ordered our food. My choice of meal was 1/3 slab of ribs, and trust me they were worth it. I think one of my cousins ordered a dish of aramdillo. I don't know if that was real or not. But I enjoyed the time, seeing as another rare family get together. Now trust me, next time you go to Texas, I insist you try Texas Roadhouse. I'll be leaving again soon. This time to Misawa, Japan, where hopefully a new adventure awaits me.

P.S~ I'd like it if you gave me a list of ten things to do while in Japan. ;D

Mind Raping

Wow. I had one heck of an eventful day. First, when I get to school, My friend Anya tells me her friend in California got in a car wreck and was pronounced dead, but she was revived and in the hospital. Anya has plans to go to California next weekend to see her. Next, one of my friends revealed to me that she was pregnant. 25 weeks pregnant. She said her parents & her boyfriend's parents already knew. I was also the only person at school who knew. She intends to keep the child, but I was okay with it. As long as she happy and it was her choice. Then, my friend Garret, who left school for home-schooling, came back. And last, just as the buses were about to leave, a kid got sick and collapsed. Red emergency vechicles were all over the place. But, I hope they were okay and didn't suffer. Welllll, today was certainly interesting. This day will unforgettable.

Obama This, Obama That

Well yesterday and today, kids were all talking about Obama's victory. Very few spoke of McCain's defeat. Though there were some kids who had a little doubt about Obama winning. Some of the kids were teasing saying that they were probably gonna move to Canda. Pffft. It surprises me how some kids just can't realize it's too late to turn back, and Barrack Obama is now your president."He's your president now, you must respect him" the words McCain had used in the speech. African Americans on the other hand, are in joy, since this breaks down another racial barrier. It's time for people to realize that the Civil War is over, and you just have to accept and move on. I think the world is gonna need one heck of a large First-Aid kit.

A New Road

Well, well! Barrack Obama's the new leader of the free country. Obama: 333 electoral votes, McCain: 156 electoral votes. Obama had a lot of supporters during his campaign, but boy was I surprised when Obama won. Today was a historical day by Obama being the first African American president. Well, I hope he does a great job of being president, and finds a solution to the finiacial crisis.

Happy Hallow's Eve

Happy Halloween to some of you people! Since I was in Honors, my classmates and I went to see Romeo & Juliet today. Nicely themed for Halloween, especially the death scenes. The cast were college students. They actually performed well, though the death scene was a little melodramatic. Romeo was black, while Juliet was white. Wanna know the real eye popper? They actually kissed-meaning lip contact. But other than that, it was enjoyable. And please... suppose someone you hate/dislike so much has a van...and then you had the chance of painting "FREE CANDY" on his/her van without ANY of being caught EVER...

would you do it?

Moving Forward

I guess today was a better day. But hey, I found out the reason why Stacia was distancing herself from herself from me. She was JEALOUS. Why? Only because I was hanging around some other girl, who was only newcake delivered from Colorado. Her name's Anya. Please save your jokes. But hey...it's nice to have someone who wants to be by your side.

What I Would Call a Bad Day...

Today was yet another uneventful day. Just another day of pain and abandonment. I feel I'm beginning to lose my friend Stacia. Stacia is a vital person in my wish to have the best last 8th grade year in school. Understand, you need friends in school. You need an ally. Someone you can trust. Since I already pointed it out, I had one heck of a bad day from the start.
